Jack Robert Loso Obituary, Robbinsdale Teenager Dies In Tragic Landslide At Minneopa State Park Falls – Death – The world obits

Jack Robert Loso Obituary, Death – On Saturday night, a tragic incident happened at Minneopa State Park Falls. A landslide took the life of 19-year-old Jack Robert Loso. Prior to 5 o’clock in the afternoon, the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office got a distressing call about a person buried in the park area close to Mankato. The tragic landslide killed young Loso, but his body was recovered despite the rapid response of rescue workers.

A Robbinsdale resident named Loso was out enjoying a family outing when the disaster struck. Loso and two friends from Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion school were featured in a 2018 news feature by CCX Media. The three of them went to Honduras with a water filtration system they made with the intention of helping disadvantaged kids. A continuation of missionary efforts in Honduras, this humanitarian effort had the support of Crystal’s Cornerstone Church.

A church representative remembered the church’s continued support in Honduras and the filtration system that Loso had helped create, even though the representative had never met Loso in person. Officials from Minnesota’s Department of Natural Resources have extended their deepest sympathies to those left behind by the tragic loss of Loso.

In their statement, the DNR offered their support to the grieving family and emphasized their commitment to working closely with the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating this tragic incident. Visitors are still not allowed to enter Minneopa State Park beyond the park’s perimeter, which is the base of the falls, due to safety concerns. The tragic incident has caused the community to grieve the death of a vibrant and caring young person.
