Alanna Smallwood Obituary, Margate City, NJ, Has Tragically Passed Away – Death – The world obits

Alanna Smallwood Obituary, Death – Alanna Rose Smallwood (née Mussachio), 47, of Margate, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Her parents, Albert and Annette Mussachio, brother Chuck Mussachio, mother-in-law and father-in-law Carl and Gerri Smallwood, children, Gianna, 13, Aspen, 12, Eva, 7, and a host of loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends survive her.

After earning her degree from Penn State, she started working for the Avalon/Stone Harbor School District as a math teacher and school counselor for 23 years. Throughout her career, she demonstrated her kindness and cheerful outlook to both her pupils and colleagues. Being a friend, coach, neighbor, and all the other roles she played to so many people, Alanna was always the first to offer assistance to her neighbors and the communities of Margate and Wildwood Crest, New Jersey.

Her empathy and generosity extended to these areas. Though Alanna was incredibly compassionate and had an endless amount of love for everyone who was lucky enough to know her, her husband and her three children will always be her greatest loves. Please think about giving money to the Boxx 4 Tots Charity in place of flowers. Giving to this charity at this time of year brought Alanna joy.

If you would like to donate, please send money to Boxx4Tots via cheque or via Venmo to @boxx4tots. Please give this organization a call at 609-992-6211 for additional information. This Saturday, December 16th, from 9 to 11 a.m., there will be a viewing at Blessed Sacrament Church, 8501 Ventnor Ave., Margate, followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Private funeral services will be held at Cape May Court House’s Resurrection Cemetery. George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, Linwood – Ventnor, made the arrangements.
